Q- What are your store hours?
A- Sunday & Monday Closed, Tuesday-Friday 6:00am-5:30pm, Saturday 10-2pm
Q – What is your policy on changes, cancellations & refunds?
A -
ORDER CHANGES – We require 72 hours notice for All changes. No changes to size, flavor or decoration can be made after this time. We are always happy to add cupcakes to orders in the event that you need to serve more guests. Leftover cake can be frozen for another day in the event you have ordered too much for your guest count.
50% NON-REFUNDABLE DEPOSIT NOW REQUIRED FOR ALL SPECIAL ORDERS -Due to an excessive amount of no shows we can no longer accept orders without deposits. Refunds will not be made for cancellations of any kind, but if change notice is made with at least 72 hours, we will apply it to the balance of the change of order.
LAST MINUTE ORDERS – Last minute orders (within 72 hours from pickup date) are Final when placed & can not be changed.
CANCELLATIONS / MISSED PICK UPS – We require 72 hours notice to cancel an order. If your party is cancelled or postponed you are still responsible for the pickup/payment of your order if we are not aware before 72 hours and will be billed accordingly. Deposits will not be refunded.
In the event of Missed or Forgotten Pickups, we make every attempt to contact you before we close. Your order will be available for pickup until the following business day, but you are responsible for the remaining balance in the event of a no-show. Deposits will not be refunded.
NO REFUNDS- We promise to do our best to provide the best tasting & best looking cakes & bakery items around. Custom orders are created with love by our talented staff just for you. Please keep in mine that no two pieces of art made by people are ever exactly alike!
Once an item has been picked up by You or Your Designated Party, and Leaves Our Shop, it is considered “Accepted”.
In the event we have made a major mistake to the design theme (butterflies instead of dinosaurs for example) and you alert us at the time of pickup, every attempt will be made to correct this error in a timely manner. In the event that we are unable to correct our mistake before your event, you can choose not to accept the cake and will not be held responsible for the balance due. While it makes us very sad to make mistakes, please remember that people, not machines are designing your cakes. No refunds will be given for color selections or minor design discrepancies.
TRANSPORTING – You are responsible for transporting your order home safely & we are not responsible once an order leaves our premises.
SPECIALTY CAKE CONSULATIONS & PHOTO SUBMISSIONS While we have a very creative team of artists on staff to assist you with design ideas at the time you place your order, we do not provide special occasion cake consulations or tastings. The basic theme you select & the research required for certain designs is left up to the client. Please have as much information ready as possible when placing your orders regarding guest count, flavor choices, cake shape, theme & decorating ideas so that we may assist you in a timely manner.
If you want a specific cake design, we require that you drop off or mail a picture between 4×6 & 5×7 in size or give us the specific item number in our album or on our website. If no picture has been received prior to 48 hours in advance of your pickup or you drop off an invitation or napkin to “coordinate” with, we reserve the right to use creative judgment when we feel it is necessary.
Our printer is specifically designed for invoices and therefore is not available for printing off pictures supplied by email. In the event that you are unable to deliver or mail the photo to us and must send as an email attachment, we will make every attempt to coordinate a design to make it look similar to the email sent as we will have no way of referencing the picture at the time of decorating.
WEDDING CAKE CONSULATIONS
Wedding cake consulations are available by appointment Tuesdays, Wednesdays & Thursdays from 10:30-1:30 & 3:00-5:30 with a $25 consulation fee, usually requiring about 30-45 minutes & include a sampling of our four most popular flavors. The consultation fee is applied toward the wedding cake balance if the cake order is placed with us.
Please keep in mind that our wedding cake designers are creating & delivering wedding cakes on Fridays & Saturdays and therefore are unavailable for consulations at this time. However, a sampler cupcake box containing four of our most popular flavors is available for you to order & enjoy at your own convenience if you are unable to meet with us during the week for $8.00 plus tax, which is applied toward your balance if you order your cake from us.
Wedding cake orders require a non-refundable security deposit of 25% which is applied to the final balance. Final balances & all changes are due 14 days prior to the scheduled delivery date.
ALLERGY WARNING!!!!
Every product produced in our bakery is made with shared equipment that may have come in contact with ingredients containing allergens including but not limited to: Peanuts, Tree Nuts, Soy, Dairy, Eggs, Gluten, Wheat etc. If you have food allergies, it is advised that you do not consume our products.
Q – How much in advance do custom cakes need to be ordered?
A – We like to have at least a week to guarantee the flavor, size
and decoration you’d like to have. We do make extra cakes daily
for last minute orders of less than a week but can’t always
guarantee specific requests.
Q – Do you have a bakery where we can come in and pick up a last
minute cake or treat?
A – We do have walk in storefront where we offer a variety of pre-
decorated cakes, as well as cookies, cupcakes, brownies,
petitfours, cake-by-the-slice, cheesecake, canollis and other
yummy treats for yourself, an event or a quick gift to pick up.
Q – I have a napkin and plate that we are using for the theme of our
party, can you match it for my cake decoration?
A – We can coordinate most designs to match your theme, just bring
us the design at least 72 hours in advance.
Q – Your cakes are very detailed and beautiful, are they all done in fondant?
A – We specialize in smooth iced buttercream cakes because we love the look of our piped designs and love the taste of our smooth homemade cream cheese buttercream icing. While we can do work in fondant when necessary, all quotes are based on using buttercream icing and detailing. If you just really must have fondant, we will be happy to provide a quote for you.
Q – I love a cake that I found on a website/saw on tv, but the fondant detailing looks very expensive and I don’t like the taste of fondant. Can you copy a design from a cake I found online/saw on tv using buttercream instead of fondant?
A – As artists making cakes by hand, no two cakes that we make are exactly alike, or an exact copy of another artist’s work. However, we can design a cake in buttercream that is very similar to one that is done with fondant icing and detailing. We think you’ll love the look of your customized cake without breaking your budget for a cake done in fondant, and you’ll love the taste! And just remember, those guys on tv are charging a minimum of $1000 for those elaborate cakes!
Q – Do you require a deposit?
A – Orders of $100 or more require a 50% non-refundable deposit.
Q – We want to order our child a birthday cake but are unsure of the
flavor we want, do you offer free samples?
A – While we do not offer free samples, we have a daily selection of
cupcakes and cake-by-the-slice in our most popular flavors offered
for sale so that you don’t have to purchase a whole cake in order
to try a variety of flavors.
Q – We are asking local small businesses for donations, money,
sponsorships or other items for a local event, can you participate
in this?
A – We donate to several charities, schools & local fundraisers as
much as possible throughout the year. While we try to give back
to our local community as often as possible, please understand
that as a small business, we are unable to make contributions to
each and every request that is made to us.
Q – What forms of payment do you accept?
A – We accept cash, check, Visa & Mastercard. Sorry, no Discover or Amex.
Q – What happens if a check I write bounces by mistake?
A – A $35 returned check fee is assessed in additional to the total payment due.
Q – Do you deliver or ship your bakery products?
A – We deliver locally & throughout the metro Atlanta area with at least 48 hours notice. We also can ship cookies, brownies, sweet breads and bundt cakes at this time.
